Hello! I am Carolyn! The mother of six children, and grandmother of two, I have always loved babies and children. Growing up in a family of seven gave me plenty of early practical experience with babies. As my youngest child prepares to leave home, my desire to dedicate time and energy to something valuable and important is ever growing. My daughter-in-law, who gave birth to both of my grandsons in her home, introduced me to doulas. This experience opened my understanding that there are many options for bringing a baby into the world.
I have worked with youth and children for over 40 years. I currently volunteer with the children at my church congregation. I strive to live my Christian beliefs to treat others with love and respect. I love to garden, bake, eat homemade bread with lots of butter, walk, practice yoga, and read good books. I am trained in birth and postpartum doula work, rebozo scarf work, and Spinning Babies.
