Soon to be Grandparents Class
Things have really changed since you gave birth! Today's parents have so many new products to choose from, new "rules" they follow, new ideas on baby care etc. It can be very confusing for grandparents with so much information to cover in order to catch up with the changes from 30 years ago.
This class provides the perfect update for new grandparents-to-be. What should I take to the birth? How do I install a carseat? How do I swaddle a baby? Do I lay them on their back or side or tummy? This class covers it all.
Class topics are:
-
Changes in labor & delivery practices and new birth options
-
How to help during labor and birth
-
Explanation of your son or daughter's birth plan
-
How to support the family after birth
-
Current guidelines for newborn care & safety
-
Carseat safety and installation
-
Ways to bond with your new grandchild
-
What to expect in the first 3 months postpartum
-
How to support the new parents and their decisions
